Crazy Pink

Crazy Pink is a 12 by 12 inch mixed media piece on wood canvas.  This was inspired by the vibrant energy of a daisy. Using acrylic printed papers, glass, and resin, I created a floral composition on a solid pink background that draws attention without overwhelming.

At the center is a large flower with petals arranged in a circular pattern. Each hand-printed petal shows varying shades of pink, while the green leaves add contrast and balance to the design.

A key feature is the cluster of deep pink crushed glass at the center, set beneath a glossy layer of resin. This adds depth and a reflective quality that catches the light.

The piece abstractly reimagines a daisy, focusing on texture and layering to push beyond traditional floral art while keeping the flower’s joyful essence.

Crazy Pink invites viewers to notice the vibrancy and detail of a single bloom, celebrating color, form, and the beauty found in mixed materials.
