The Quiet Watch is a 6 by 12-inch mixed media collage centered on a bald eagle’s head, upper body, and wings. 

Inspired by the famous social media Eagles and their Eaglets who have recently fledges from their birth nest.

Hand-printed papers form the feathers, blending deep browns, blacks, and blues, with gold flecks introducing subtle shimmer and texture. The eagle’s white head contrasts sharply against the darker body, drawing focus to its intense, watchful eye. The background layers teal and blue tones with abstract patterns that support the eagle’s presence without distracting from it.

Crushed glass embedded beneath resin adds a delicate depth and refined finish to the piece, enhancing its tactile quality. This work captures the quiet strength and commanding presence of the eagle in a thoughtful, layered composition.
